Every order moves through clear, transparent states — you always know where your money is.

Refunded 已退款	Funds returned to you in full.	No further action needed.

Our team reviews both sides fairly.
We release to the rightful party or refund.

What escrow does — and doesn't — cover

Escrow protects the funds and delivery of your on-platform trade. It can't help with payments or chats taken outside TFE — always keep everything on-platform so you stay protected.

When exactly are funds released?

Only when the buyer confirms they've received the currency or crypto (or, for desk exchanges, when delivery is confirmed). Until then, funds stay held in escrow.

What if the other side never delivers?

Raise a dispute — the funds are frozen instantly and our team reviews. If delivery didn't happen, you're refunded in full.

Can TFE staff take my money?

No. Escrow is a neutral hold that releases only on confirmation or a reviewed dispute outcome. Staff will never ask for your password or one-time codes.

Is P2P escrow the same as desk escrow?
